This secondary clutch already has the proper helix and spring assembled for the 2016-24 RZR 1000 application. We custom calibrate each and every clutch that leaves our shop for 1. Tire Size (very important) 2. Riding style (Fast Trail, Rock Crawling, Deep Mud, Snow Plowing, 45% Gear Reduction Portals. 3. Elevation 4. Two Seater or Four Seater Etc. Etc. This is a TEAM Tied design, considerable improvement in performance and durability over the stock secondary 2016-24 BOSS design. BOSS stands for "built on shaft". Meaning Polaris designed this clutch to rely on the machines transmission shaft to assembly it. That is a horrible idea and design. The tolerances are all over the map and allow these clutches to have considerable play in the moveable sheave. This allows the moveable sheave to bind or scrub. This binding and tolerance issues is what excellerates the square slider blocks wearing out. This new clutch design utilizes a common shaft, and quad rollers. The very shaft that is used to form the bushing in the moveable sheave, creating a perfect tolerance and eliminating the binding. We use these same secondary clutch designs on 400-500 HP Turbo Charge drag race snowmobiles, with no issues!! Designed as a direct replacement, no modifications required. We also sell primary clutches if needed, and or clutch combination kits.
